It looks like Microsoft is encouraging manufacturers to provide upgrade paths to Windows Mobile 6. According to Download Squad, Microsoft is giving free licenses to vendors who issue upgrades for their Windows Mobile devices. This doesn't necessarily mean that all vendors will pass on the free license to the customer, but one can hope.
