Palm, Inc. has a software update to the Versamail application on their Treo 680 and 700p phones, that adds Microsoft's Direct Push Technology.
The update allows users who are connected to an Exchange Server to get automatic updates of their email, contact, and calendar information. The real beauty of the update is the free push email. As soon as the server receives an email, it is sent to the Treo. Now the Treo will act more like a Blackberry which many users are clammering for.
