Could two new Treos be coming out this year? Engadget is reporting that Cingular will launch two new Treos in October of this year. Codenamed "Nitro" and "Lennon", both Treos are new additions to the line of Treo phones that debuted in 2003. Although there aren't many details about the new phones, neither appears to have an external antenna.
The Treo Lennon is the Windows Mobile version that also includes UMTS and Class 10 EDGE. The Lennon includes a 1.3 megapixel digital camera and built-in WiFi which would be a welcome addition to the Treo line. There aren't many details about the Treo Nitro but it should run Palm OS and include a 1.3 megapixel camera.
Of course this report should be considered as a rumor at this point as there are no firm details from Palm at this time.
