If you missed out on the fire sale at Best Buy when HP sold out of its last Touchpads, and have been kicking yourself ever since, don't worry. You can still find a HP Touchpad out there if you're willing to take a chance. Several retailers still offer HP Touchpads, although they can get pricey.

A quick Google Shopping search comes up with several Touchpads for sale. The most interesting listing I saw today was from CedarPC.com. They are offering a refurbished Touchpad for $140. That's not bad if you're willing to trust that it is truly refurbished.

LG's purchase of webOS does not mean webOS will be around in the form that we want it. They have not announced any plans to create a smartphone or tablet, although because of the open source community I believe someone will find a way to keep webOS going. The diehard webOS fans still love the OS and favor it over iOS and Android, but we need devices. At $140, the risk is relatively low and you could end up with a solid webOS tablet.
