Until recently we hadn't heard much about webOS. HP decided to dump its plans for webOS smartphones and tablets and instead moved webOS to the open source community. Now called Open webOS, the best mobile OS in the world is being ported to various devices. This time, the Galaxy Nexus gets the webOS treatment.
Completing the install on a Galaxy Nexus is not for the faint of heart. If you're gutsy however, you can head over to XDA and follow the instructions. I really loved webOS and I'm hopeful that at some point in the future it will make a huge comeback.
