WebOS 1.3.5 is out today and we've installed it on our Pre. Beware, as we had a few weird issues with this update. First of all, the Pre told us the update was downloading but the progress bar never moved. We then got a message that said it could not connect to get the update. We tried it again and the progress bar did not move again for about 15 minutes. All of a sudden, our Pre said the update was ready to install. We hit the Install button and then the waiting began. The Pre rebooted 3 times and the update took 20 minutes to complete. It took so long that we seriously thought our Pre was bricked.
Once the update was complete the Pre rebooted and everything seemed normal, until we saw a weird wallpaper. It turns out that the update changed our settings in "Switcharoo" and told the program to use "All Images" as wallpaper even though we had a specific folder setup for wallpaper. We're not sure how that switch happened, but it has to do with WebOS 1.3.5.
Now that we have the 1.3.5 update running we don't notice much difference, but it does work so stay with it. For the full list of changes in 1.3.5 see the link below.
UPDATE: Call us crazy but we're noticing slow performance since updating to 1.3.5. We've rebooted but launching apps is still noticeably slower. Even moving around the launcher is slower. Stay tuned...
