Rumors are swirling about a possible new Palm Tungsten C device. Apparently, Staples will start selling a new Tungsten C personal digital assistant from Palm in two to three weeks, according to employees at two stores in the Boston area Wednesday, PC World reported.
Although specifications were unavailable, Staples employees confirmed that the new PDA is listed in Staples' internal record-keeping database, and will cost $500 when it becomes available.
Rumors began swirling at PalmInfoCenter, but exact details are unknown. It was speculated that it would resemble the Tungsten W with a thumb keyboard and perhaps even include built-in WiFi.
Palm has refused to comment as they do not comment on unannounced products, a company representative said Wednesday.
With the imminent release of the Tungsten W this week, and the rumors of the Tungsten C, Palm is making headlines with their growing line of PDA devices.
