According to HP executive Rahul Sood's Twitter feed, don't expect new webOS hardware to appear any time soon. Although HP is definitely working on webOS Sood cautions his Twitter followers:

We've heard of some new features coming in webOS 2.0 but it looks like we'll have to wait awhile. The Pre is definitely feeling its age and a lot of Pre users have moved on to Android. Will you wait around for a new device from HP? My question is, when was the last time we saw spectacular hardware from HP? It's been a long, long time.
