The original Palm Pre disappears from Sprint's website

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - November 10, 2010

So long Palm Pre. The original webOS device that made a splash last summer has disappeared from Sprint's website. With the imminent release of the Pre 2 on Verizon it looks like Sprint is out of the webOS game for now.

Sprint was the launch carrier for Palm's original webOS device but since the launch Sprint customers have gotten the shaft. Palm released a Palm Pre Plus for Verizon and AT&T, but all those loyal Sprint customers who originally helped launch the Pre were never provided an upgrade path to better hardware.

Sprint has quietly removed the Pre from its website and there has been no news on whether or not the Pre 2 will be offered at Sprint. So long Palm Pre.
