Palm has officially unveiled the Palm Pixi, its second webOS phone. The ultra-thin Palm Pixi comes just three months after the launch of the Palm Pre. The Pixi is just 10.85 mm in thickness which is 6.1mm thinner than the Pre, and the iPhone 3Gs by 1.45 mm.
“With Palm webOS, we’re creating a new, more intuitive smartphone experience defined by unmatched simplicity and usefulness,” said Jon Rubinstein, Palm chairman and chief executive officer. “Palm Pixi brings this unique experience to a broader range of people who want enhanced messaging and social networking in a design that lets them express their personal style.”
PreCentral was lucky enough to get a walkthrough of the device by Palm. As you can see in the video the device is very small and has a keyboard on the front.
