Windows Mobile 7 delayed

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - September 23, 2008

Microsoft has informed some of their partners that they had to delay the release of Windows Mobile 7. According to cnet, some of those partners are now reporting that they will not have Windows Mobile 7 in their hands until the second half of 2009. It was previously expected that Windows Mobile 7 would be out in early 2009, but we'll apparently have to wait a bit longer.

With the success of the iPhone, BlackBerry and the recently announced Google Android G1, the competition is stiff. Can Microsoft really afford to take so long in releaing an upgrade to Windows Mobile?
