Verizon Treo 700p update officially available

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - July 13, 2007

Palm has finally made available the Treo 700p update for Verizon versions of the Treo 700p. A few days ago we reported that the update was available in certain Verizon locations but now the update has been posted online.

"The Verizon Treo 700p Update installs the latest software on your smartphone. It is a ROM update. Most users will spend about 30 minutes to complete this process.

Windows XP and 2000 users will install the update through a desktop wizard. Windows Vista, Mac, and IT/Enterprise users will copy the installer files to an SD/MMC expansion card and insert the card into the smartphone to start the update."
