Palm removes Treo 700p MR from web site

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - June 06, 2007

Palm has temporarily removed the recently posted Treo 700p maintenance release from its web site. The Treo 700p MR has been the most anticipated and yet the most screwed up software patch we've ever heard of. After so many rumored and promised release dates there was finally something posted on Monday. Now Palm has had to remove the update due to isolated installation issues which cased the Treos to constantly reset. By the time Palm gets this figured out most users will have probably moved on to the 755p.

A statement on the Palm blog said, "We're investigating the issue and will make the Sprint Treo 700p update available again as soon as possible. We know this has been a frustrating process for customers and apologize for the inconvenience it may have caused."
