Rumor - Palm sale could happen by Thursday

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - March 20, 2007

More rumors are out today about a possible Palm acquisition. These rumors have been flying for a couple of years now. Originally it was rumored that Motorola was interested but they supposedly passed on the deal. Earlier this year it was rumored that Nokia was interested, but that rumor faded.

Today, Unstrung is reporting that a deal could happen by Thursday of this week, and that four potential buyers are in play. Two private equity firms as well as Nokia and Motorola are said to be interested in buying Palm, Inc. at a price of $20 per share.

We'll simply have to wait and see if this pans out as the rumors have been out there for quite some time. Check out the link below for the full story.
