Palm Launches Treo 700wx on Sprint

Palm has launched the Treo 700wx on the Sprint network. The devices will be in most Sprint stores on Tuesday, September 5th.

The Treo 700wx is an updated version of the Treo 700w that Verizon has been offering since January. The two devices are virtually identical except that the 700wx has more memory. The 700wx has about 57 MB of space available for applications which is more than double the RAM in the Treo 700w.

  • 128MB of memory and 60MB of dedicated user storage
  • 1.3mp digital camera for images and videos
  • Integrated Bluetooth 1.2
  • Expansion card slot (SD, SDIO, and MultiMediaCard compatible)
  • Size/weight: 4.4" x 2.3" x 0.9" / 6.4 ounces
  • Removable 1800 mAh battery and non-volatile memory
  • Voice Command for voice dialing
  • Microsoft Office Word Mobile, Office Excel Mobile and Office PowerPoint Mobile for viewing, editing and creating Word and Excel Mobile documents, as well as viewing PowerPoint Mobile presentations.
  • Messaging application, including email, SMS and MMS
