Gadgetsonthego has confirmed that the Palm Retail Store in LA is already selling the Sprint Treo 700ws. They do not take orders over the phone but if you're in the area you can drop by the store and pick one up. The picture here is Gadgetsonthego's. The price is $649.00 for the Treo 700wx which is the same price that Sprint offers the 700p without a contract.

We've been expecting the 700wx to hit the Sprint stores on or about August 31. It looks like Palm jumped the gun.
