Last week a forum posting on the Mapaland.org Palm forums claimed that Palm would be releasing a special edition Black Tie Treo 650. It looks like the rumor turned out to be true as the special edition Treo is now on Palm's web site. The Black Tie Treo is an unlocked GSM Treo 650 that sells for $599.
The Black Tie Treos are identical to the original Treo 650 except for a special black styling and silicone coating on the unit's housing. In addition to the cosmetic changes, a multifunction pen stylus and the new Palm Treo hard case are also included.
