Verizon OffersTreo 700p Before Sprint

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - May 22, 2006

It was only last week that Sprint PCS announced it would be the first wireless carrier to offer the new Treo 700p. It seems their press department might have jumped the gun. Verizon Wireless is now offering the Treo 700p but it is not yet listed on Sprint's web site.

The price is a little higher than previously reported. Verizon is offering the Treo 700p for $500 with a 2-year service contract, or $550 with a 1-year contract. Sprint said it planed to charge $400 with a 2-year contract. We shall see.
