According to CNEt's News.com, Palm is set to release a new Treo 700p. A little more than four months after Palm released the Windows Mobile-based Treo 700w on Verizon Wireless' EV-DO network, it is set to announce a Palm OS version that can connect to EV-DO networks.
Several web sites have been posting rumors about the upcoming 700p for months. In march we told you that a report was sent into PalmInfocenter, that someone saw the Treo 700p listed in Sprint's internal database. It appears that the rumor is finally about to materialize. Stay tuned on Monday.
