Palm Treo 700w Officially Debuts at Verizon

Rumors have been flying about the launch date for the new Treo 700w. It was expected that January 5 would be the day that the Treo 700w would debut. Then came Palm's CEO Ed Colligan announcement at CES, that Verizon Wireless would begin offering the device on January 5. Today is the day and Verizon has officially listed the Treo 700w on its web site.

Verizon is the first, and only carrier at this time to offer the new Pocket PC. Users who signup for a two-year agreement can get the phone for $400.
