Palm Drops LifeDrive Price By $50

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - January 15, 2006

Palm has lowered the price of the LifeDrive Mobile Manager by $50. The new price for the LifeDrive Mobile Manager is now $449.

The LifeDrive is similar to other high-end palmOne handhelds. It has a 320 x 480 pixel screen (supporting portrait and landscape modes) and Bluetooth. What separates it from other handhelds is the 4GB hard drive included in the device. This hard drive led palmOne to announce they are developing a different class of handheld devices.

One of the included features Folder Sync, allows users to synchronize selected folders between their desktop computer and the LifeDrive.

Another very slick feature of the LifeDrive is Drive Mode. Drive mode enables users to plug the handheld into the USB port on a PC and have the microdrive appear as a removable drive.
