Rumor: Tungsten X to Replace Tungsten T5

A few details about some upcoming Palm devices have emerged. According to a report by PalmInfocenter, Palm will release a new Tungsten X that will replace the Tungsten T5.

The new Tungsten X will run Palm OS Garnet v5.4.9 on a 312MHz XScale processor with 128MB of non-volitile memory. It will sport a 320x480 pixel display, and include both 802.11b WiFi, and Bluetooth 1.2. It will have an SDIO expansion slot and is expected have voice recording and a digital camera. The price will be $299 according to the report.

There is also expected to be a new Zire 22. The Zire 22 will have a 160x160 pixel color screen, 32MB of RAM but no SD slot. The price will be $99.
