Varibyte has updated its note taking software, tNotes today. tNotes is an application for TREO™ 600/650 smartphone users. It was created to address the need of mobile professionals to quickly record handwritten notes on their handheld. The new version incorporates alarm support for the Treo 650 handheld.

tNotes provides two separate sections for note taking. In the first, the user can write notes using the full screen. The second screen is split between handwritten notes and text. Notes can be organized and viewed in a list. The notes can also be triggered by an alarm. Users organize notes by assigning them to customizable categories.

This program was designed for mobile professionals; doctors, lawyers, contractors, etc. A tNotes user can jot down a critical telephone number while on the phone with an important client or colleague. Quick notes can be written within tNotes during a live meeting or conference call.

tNotes is a great program for writing and organizing notes and text. Its features were designed to be intuitive, and well suited to serve the needs of mobile professionals. The program is available for trial and purchase at a price of $14.95 (USD).
