NormSoft, Inc. today announced the availability of Version 3.1 of its audio player, Pocket Tunes Deluxe. This most recent version allows the playback of music purchased from online music stores as well as downloads from portable music subscription services like RealNetworks'® Rhapsody® To Go, Napster's® Napster To Go(TM) and Yahoo's Yahoo!® Music Unlimited.

Pocket Tunes Deluxe Version 3.1 will support the playback of content from online music providers that use Microsoft's Windows Media 10 digital rights management (DRM) for delivering content for playback on portable devices. This gives Palm device owners with Pocket Tunes Deluxe the ability to choose from a wide selection of online music stores and services.

Ken Wirt, senior vice president of worldwide marketing for Palm, said, "This new version of Pocket Tunes Deluxe really opens the door for Palm product users to listen to their DRM-protected music on the go. Pocket Tunes' great user interface and rich feature set embody what Palm products are about -- the ability to easily take your digital information with you wherever you go."
