palmOne announced today that it will officially change its company name back to Palm on July 14th. palmOne recently acquired the rights to the brand name Palm from PalmSource in a $30 million dollar deal. Didn't they own the name before they split the company in two? In any case, they are switching back again. The company's Nasdaq ticker symbol will change from PLMO to PALM. A new logo and design treatment will be unveiled later this summer.
