Verizon has announced support for the new Treo 650 phone. Although no release date has been given, Verizon's web site states the "Treo 650 will soon be certified on the Verizon Wireless network." You can signup to be notified when the new phones arrive.
The Verizon web site lists the following disclaimer:
"*Disclaimer: The Treo 650 supports the following Bluetooth Profiles: wireless headset, hands-free accessories, file transfer and synchronization with compatible PC’s. It does not support all profiles, for object exchange (Obex). Accessories sold separately. See verizonwireless.com/bluetooth for details. *Check with accessory manufacturer for compatibility."
This basically means that they will not be support Dialup Networking which would enable laptop users to use their Treo as a modem. There is a workaround for this with a software package called PDANet. See the link below.
