palmOne Releases the Tungsten E2

palmOne has released the successor to its popular Tungsten E handheld device. The new Tungsten E2, looks looks identical to its predecessor but includes several new features. The new E2 includes a brighter screen, Bluetooth, and a better battery.

According to palmOne the screen for the Tungsten E2 is 30 percent brighter and and has 40 percent better color saturation than the Tungsten E.

It comes with 32 MB of memory and a battery that can last up to twice as long as the original Tungsten E.

The Tungsten E2 also supports palmOne's Wi-Fi SD card, allowing it to connect to Wi-Fi networks. Users will have to wait a bit however, because the necessary software for this won't be available until next month.
