Cingular Wireless Offers the Treo 650

Cingular Wireless is the first carrier to offer a GSM verion of the Treo 650 in America. Cingular began offering the Treo 650 smart phone today. The Treo 650 has a several improvements over the Treo 600 although they two devices are very similar. The new Treo 650 has a better screen, integrated Bluetooth and a swappable battery. It is also the first Treo to support the faster EDGE wireless networking standard. Cingular is charging $549 for this device without a new contract, or $449 with a new two-year contract.
