Symantec Releases AntiVirus Beta

Symantec is releasing a public beta of its AntiVirus software for Palm and Pocket PC PDAs. This beta release is for the consumer version of Symantec AntiVirus for Handhelds. If you are interested in testing Symantec AntiVirus for Handhelds - Corporate Edition, you must apply to the Symantec Enterprise Development Alliance program (EDAP).

Please note that this Beta Release expires 30 days after product was installed.

System Requirements

  • Pentium Level CPU
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or above (5.5 recommended)
  • Windows 98, 98SE
  • Windows Me
  • Windows 2000, SP1 or higher
  • Windows XP Home and Professional, SP1
  • Palm OS 3.5 - Palm 5.0 with HotSync 3.0.4 and higher
  • PocketPC 2002 with ActiveSync 3.5 and higher
