Dell and Good Hook Up

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - April 24, 2003

According to CNET Dell and Good Technologies are about to make an important announcement on April 29. No details of the contents of the announcement were given but an invitation was sent to journalist to attend a press conference on April 29.

Speculation has already started swirling about what the announcement could be. It could simply be that Dell will sell Good's services or it could be a closer partnership. Until now Dell has been selling RIM's Blackberry devices but the Blackberry is no longer listed on Dell's site.

Dell could be incorporating Good's technology into wireless gear of its own or putting the Dell brand on Good's devices. We'll have to wait until next Tuesday to find out the details.

If Dell scraps ties with RIM and instead hooks up with Good, that would mark a huge blow to RIM. This could significantly affect their sales to businesses.
