News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - April 11, 2003

Enfora, Inc. announced a carrying case for Palm handhelds that will give them Wi-Fi wireless networking access.

Enfora's Patent Pending Wireless Portfolio is designed specifically for the ever growing WI-FI market. It will instantly turn your Palm into a WI-FI data enabled device to access your home, office network or the many hot-spots now coming on line.

The WP802b will have a maximum range of about 500 feet outdoors. Indoors, the range will be closer to 100 feet. Data transfer speed depends on range, but the max speed will be 11 Mps. The case is expected to be released in a few months at a cost of $170.
